If the newcomer comes from abroad:

• Once moved, register at the municipality of Enschede (Gemeente), an appointment is needed and can be requested online.
• Open a Dutch bank account (e.g., ABN AMRO, ING).
• Get a healthcare provider (e.g., Menzis).
• If eligible, apply for tax allowances: rent and healthcare.
• If eligible, check for Domijn accomodations.
