+First day:
+  * Get a key from secretary's office.
+  * Get a desk or an office.
+  * If applicable, invite to Zi2042 Signal group.
+  * Invite to relevant Mattermost channels.
+  * Explain how to use the different platforms: MyHR, Unit4, HoraFinita, Canvas, OSIRIS, Course Finder for Employees.
+First week:
+  * Get the employee card.
+  * Get NS business card (and explain its function).
+  * Request hardware (laptop, mouse, keyboard, monitors) to Geert Jan.
+  * Apply for access to bike shed and Zilverling on outside of working hours on SESAM.
+  * Show around the campus (weather allowing).
+  * Explain the sport associations & fitness.
+  * If applicable, explain mandatory courses for PhD students.
+First month:
+  * If applicable (no 30% ruling) apply for benefits: converting 1-2 weeks of leave to money/bike.
+  * Register to Xerox printer.
+  * If needed, get access to HPC Cluster from Geert Jan.
+If the newcomer comes from abroad:
+  * Once moved, register at the municipality of Enschede (Gemeente), an appointment is needed and can be requested online [within 5 days from moving].
+  * Open a Dutch bank account (e.g., ABN AMRO, ING) [if you already have EU bank account, not urgent but recommended, otherwise urgent].
+  * Get a healthcare provider (e.g., Menzis) [do it asap, it is mandatory to have one in the Netherlands].
+  * If eligible, apply for 30% ruling.
+  * If eligible, apply for tax allowances: rent and healthcare.
+  * If eligible, check for Domijn accomodations.
