Seminars

The cybersecurity group holds weekly seminars every Friday from 11:00 to 12:00. The schedule for this term is as follows:

February 28 Jerre
March 07 Florian
March 14 Gianpietro
March 21 Zsolt
March 28 Luca
April 04 Federico
April 11 Matteo
April 18 Marc

Attendance

Attendance at the weekly seminar is strongly recommended for all group members and mandatory for the following categories:

  • Master’s students actively involved in the lab
  • PhD students
  • Postdocs

Exceptions apply in cases of illness, conference attendance, or other valid reasons.

Talk Format

Each seminar consists of a ~25 minute talk, followed by a discussion. The topic should be related to cybersecurity but does not need to be your current research. The ideal topic: Is som * ething you are passionate about.

  • Is accessible to all group members.
  • Is interesting and useful to others.

Talks do not have to be highly technical or niche. Instead, they can very well present a fundamental concept, technique, or technology that might be well-known in one field but less familiar to others in the group.

The seminar will be held physically on campus - no hybrid setting will be available for now.

External speakers are welcome. If you have a topic or a speaker in mind, please contact the seminar organizer.
